AI Assist is a block that uses our in-house AI tools to provide dynamic responses to the end users based on the data trained from the initial source (Website, Zendesk, KnowledgeBase).
Why am I unable to scan my website?
-
None or very few pages scanned:
-
the source’s code may have an error skipped by browsers but may affect the scanner. In that case, the code has to be fixed to make it work.
-
the bot will ignore some of the content on your source, for example, images, videos, and other embedded content
-
-
Error messages:
-
the source isn’t available under a public URL (localhost, intranet). Scanning internal content is impossible when password or access-protected. To scan the site, disable the protection for a few minutes so the content is available, or add the site’s content as Articles.
-
-
Scanner limitations:
-
the scanner can scan an article that is up to 8000 characters long.
-
the scanner can scan up to 2000 pages at a time, 5000 pages in total. If you have more than that, the sites will be added to the bot at random. You can decide which sites make the final cut.
-
Can I add more than one website to the bot?
-
Yes, the AI Knowledge feature allows you to combine multiple sources into one bot and use it as a combined knowledge bot. The bot can use up to 5000 knowledge sources at once.
Can I add new sites to bot knowledge after it is trained?
-
Yes, you can update and re-train the bot after it is created in the AI Knowledge section.
Is the scanning a one-time event, or does it run periodically to keep up-to-date?
-
You can retrain your bot after it is created, but it is not automated. You should retrain the bot each time your content changes, and you want to update it.
Can I edit/make changes in the trained bot after it was created?
-
Yes, you can make changes to your bot at any time.
Can I copy/duplicate the bot?
-
Yes, but the AI-trained data won’t be included in the duplicated bot. The data trained into the bot is attached to the original bot only, and duplicating/copying it won’t move that data along with the copied bot. You must re-scan the website to have the data trained in the new bot.
Can I merge my old bot with the new bot? Can I merge automatically trained bots?
-
It is not possible to merge bots.
How are the categories from the given URL created?
-
The categories are based on the slugs of your website URLs. For example, “chatbot.com/chatbot-for-enterprise/” (and any link with the same path) becomes the ChatBot For Enterprise category.
Do you use hyperlinks on the website to gather all the necessary links? How are you filtering the links? What is the logic behind choosing the final links?
-
We collect all of the links available on a website. If a link is unique, it is queued. We look for links based on the original host and consider relative paths.
Does the bot trained automatically take confidence score into account?
-
No, a confidence score is not related to the AI-generated bot responses. The AI Assist block provides dynamic responses to the end users based on the data trained from the initial source.
Does the ChatBot have a static IP or IP range? Can we whitelist specific IPs so that the ChatBot will work with our site?
-
ChatBot’s IP addresses do not have to be whitelisted, as it doesn’t affect the scanning process.
Will there be more features? What features are planned?
-
Yes. With each iteration, we plan to add more features. They will be based both on our internal decisions and feedback collected from our customers.
